Mesa Lane Partners are a Real Estate investment and development firm located in Santa Barbara. They contacted YKG about printing 1000 of their new project brochures. "The Loop" is a new student housing building in the neighborhood of Isla Vista that overlooks the ocean. MLP wanted to be able to spread the word through use of these 6"X6" brochures. They provided the design, but we provided the ink. Take a look.

Pablo Vasquez - "En La Linea De Fuego... Traicion" - Autobiography

This was a very interesting job. We had a customer walk in who wanted to have his autobiography published. He came in with a file of approximately 400 pages he wanted printed and bound. His story deals with his time as a Guerilla fighter in Nicaragua... definitely an interesting read. Give us a call if you want to pick up a copy (the book is in Spanish). We ended up printing 500 copies of this book, and are glad to say our customer was extremely happy seeing 2 years of his life come to fruition.

Ararat Charter School - Traffic Signs

Ararat Charter School is a middle school in Sylmar that hired us to create traffic signs for their parking lot and cross street. They were having some problems with traffic and wanted to get things under control. They contacted us and asked us to provide 12 standing signs that can be moved to various locations. We solved this by providing aluminum signs on pvc pipe stands that have rolling bases. We were told they were exactly what they were looking for.

Hueneme High School - Mecha Sweaters

We have had the privilege of working with the HHS Mecha club for the last 3 years. This year they wanted to keep some of last year's images and incorporate some new one's. The overall layout stayed the same but we changed the center piece. We removed the aztec temple and added a serpent as well as a "day of the dead girl", based on student suggestions. This was the outcome.

Hueneme High School - Senior Sweater 2012

YKG was hired to design and print this years Hueneme High School Senior Sweaters. The students had an idea in mind but wanted us to elaborate on it. They knew they wanted the design to be bold and incorporate the image of a viking; their mascot. We ended up printing on the front, back and sleeve of the the sweaters. They turned out to be a hit with the students.

These are sweaters we were asked to design for the students of Animo South Los Angeles Charter High School. Some of the faculty thought it would be a good idea to provide the students with the option of wearing an official school sweater. We were pretty much given free range with this design, and this is what we came up with. We were told the students were very happy with the outcome.

These are an example of a half page, 8 page, saddled stitched brochure printed on 100lb gloss book. They are a perfect alternative to the tri-fold brochure, especially when you have quite a bit of information that just won't fit in a tri-fold.

These were printed for a customer of ours out of San Diego who designs all his work and has us do the printing. We call this type of client a broker. We met with the staff and they specified they wanted a bulldog incorporated into the design since that is the school mascot. They specified a color scheme and let us do the rest. YKG Printing was given the opportunity to print the Senior Sweaters for ALT's Class of 2011. The students provided a sketch design of what they wanted, the rest was up to us.
